SIC has developed a sustainable and effective model of providing HIV/AIDS services to the communities we work in, and we need YOU to join us in keeping this movement going! Follow these steps to understanding SIC Village Sponsorship and how you can get involved.

What is a village sponsorship?

By sponsoring a village, you will provide a full year of support that will go directly to one of the villages where SIC works.

What do village sponsorship funds cover?

Community based, high impact interventions that help more people in the village to know their HIV status, improve access to antiretroviral medications for people with AIDS, and give HIV-negative community members the knowledge and tools to protect themselves from the virus. These include:

• A sustainable school-based peer educator program
• The services of SIC’s mobile counseling and HIV testing unit
• Training and support for two community health workers in the village
• Expanded access to antiretrovirals and medical supplies for people living with HIV

As a sponsor, what will I receive?

• A welcome package with information and photos from your village.
• Emailed updates on work in your village from local leaders, community health workers, and our staff.
• A unique opportunity to visit your sponsored village and see first-hand the significance of your support!
