Our Mission
To increase the understanding of the global HIV epidemic amongst UK school children and university students with the aim of inspiring them to take action on a national and international scale through peer education, fundraising and volunteer work.
Our Vision
SIC UK believes that raising awareness about HIV is essential in addressing the epidemic. Through holding interactive workshops in secondary schools around the country and fundraising at a university level we hope to increase knowledge, challenge attitudes and inspire young people to address vital health issues in both developed and developing countries. Combining this with recruiting and preparing volunteers to support SIC in the work it does in Tanzania we believe we can create a future generation educated and empowered to act.
