HIV Talk (DONE)
Harold Wilson room, Student’s Guild, Liverpool University. 6-8pm.
A HIV+ speaker from Sahir House and a HIV Consultant from the Royal (Dr.Choponda), will be giving a talk on HIV and the impact it has on people and their families. It will provide a rare insight into HIV in a UK setting. Open to all who are interested, no connection to HIVE/SIC required.

Pub Quiz (DONE – Photos)
Gilmour Bar, Student’s Guild, Liverpool University. 7.30-11.00pm
Ready for your quiz skills to be seriously tested? HIVE Liverpool is holding a Pub Quiz to mark World AIDS day*. It will be a mixture of regular pub quiz questions and simple HIV-related questions. There will be a fantastic mystery prize on offer for the winner. Tickets are only £2 and are available from the student guild’s BASE and from HIVE Liverpool Committee members. Drinks offers may be available.

Street collection (DONE – Photos)
Liverpool City Centre 10.00am-6.00pm (4 x 2hr shifts)
HIVE Liverpool is holding a Street Collection to mark World AIDS day*. All proceeds will go to support HIVE/SIC and their AIDS awareness projects. HIVE volunteers will be out in red shirts bucket shaking around the town centre trying to catch some of the christmas shoppers’ goodwill. Those who donate will receive a red ribbon. Hot drinks will be provided to volunteers. If you are interested please look at the Facebook events page and Doodle shift schedule.

Annual Bumper Gig and Bar Crawl
Bumper on Hardman Street 7.30pm-3.00am
It's that time of year again guys.....
***PREPARE TO GET EXCITED***
★3rd ANNUAL BUMPER GIG ★
There are some great bands lined up for the night to suit all tastes, followed by BATALA (a brazallian style samba band)
To step it up another notch we are adding a pub crawl to the night! We have some great bars lined up for afterwards including:
★Walkabout
★Revs
★Plus a couple more watering holes to stop at along the way
All of the bars have promised some amazing drink offers (will be posted on our fb event closer to the time) so do not fear… your night will still be cheap!
To further add to your excitement we are going to be holding a raffle and selling Krispy Kremes... all of the doughnut money will go towards one of our volunteers going out to Tanzania this summer!
We are selling beautiful red wristbands this year - £5 each which includes free entry to everywhere we go plus a FREE SHOT :O plus your whole night of amazing entertainment!
All proceeds go to Tanzania so please please please come!
Wristbands can be bought off any HIVE Liverpool committee member
OR alternatively you can buy them on the night!

*Please note that whilst these events are not on World AIDS Day this is not an error but is simply because some of us will be teaching as HIVE on World AIDS Day. Also permits, bookings etc could only be obtained for these days.
