Luke Bradford, MD
Board of Directors
Luke Bradford first became involved with SIC in 2004 while visiting his old school friend Matt Craven in Arusha. Impressed and moved by the work he saw, Luke established SIC UK to fundraise and build awareness within Britain. SIC UK now teaches about HIV/AIDS in British high schools helping to train future leaders in international health. It has a strong fund raising wing and recruits volunteers for the Tanzanian programs. In 2005, whilst working in the Solomon Islands as part of his medical training, Luke saw the need for intervention to prevent an epidemic of HIV in the Islands. As a result he worked with the local health system and the Solomon Island government to establish a pilot program in the archipelago. Luke holds a BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology and a BM in Medicine, he currently lives and practices in New Zealand.

In the fall of 2010 Erica left her position as SIC’s Executive Director to expand her capacity to impact our global community through a social entrepreneurship focused MBA program at Oxford.
